Role Overview

We have a great opportunity for an experienced valuer to join our Hotels team within Savills Operational Capital Markets.

The successful candidate will manage complex valuation processes, oversee junior team members, and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, lenders, developers, and operators. With a good understanding of hotel operational performance, market dynamics, and capital markets, the Associate/Associate Director will contribute to thought leadership, business development, and the continued growth of Savills’ market‑leading hotel advisory practice. This role requires exceptional technical capability, commercial judgement, and the ability to deliver high‑quality client outcomes in a fast‑paced and evolving sector.

This position is responsible for leading high‑profile valuation and advisory mandates across a wide range of assets in the UK and Europe, providing clients with strategic insight that underpins investment, financing, and transactional decision‑making.

Team Overview

The team specialises in hotel, apart-hotel and hostel valuations, working with the sector’s leading lenders, developers and investors. We undertake most of our work throughout the UK, with approximately 20% of instructions in Europe offering opportunities for work related travel to top European cities. The successful candidate will gain experience in a broad range of asset types (budget, mid-market, luxury, resorts, country-house and development work) in a variety of locations, both single asset work and portfolio transactions. Recent valuations include The Savoy and Six Senses Hotels in London, the Ritz Madrid, the A&O European Hostel portfolio and the Park Plaza European Hotel portfolio. Savills operational capital markets (OCM) is a 150-person strong division that has advised on over £25 billion of transactions in the UK & EMEA Operational Real Estate sectors in the past 3 years.
