The Role
The school is seeking a professional and approachable Receptionist to join the front-office administration team.
The Receptionist plays a key role in ensuring that the school provides a welcoming and efficient service to visitors, students, parents, and staff. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational ability, and a calm and friendly manner.
The successful candidate will manage the school reception area, handle enquiries, and support the wider administration team with a range of clerical tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and students
Managing incoming calls and responding to enquiries professionally
Greeting visitors and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
Supporting the administration team with clerical tasks
Managing visitor sign-in systems and reception records
Assisting with communication between parents and school staff
Distributing messages and information across the school
Supporting attendance and student information systems when required
Maintaining an organised and welcoming reception environment
Front Office Environment
The reception team plays a vital role in shaping the school’s first impression for visitors and families. The school values professionalism, efficiency, and a friendly approach that reflects the positive ethos of the school.
Staff in the administration team work collaboratively to ensure that the school operates smoothly and that parents and visitors receive prompt and helpful assistance.

Previous reception or administrative experience would be advantageous.
