Marchant Recruitment
London

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Westminster is seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join their growing Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) for Key Stage 1 pupils.

You’ll be working with a small group of pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated communication and learning needs — providing high-quality, individualised teaching and helping each child to flourish in a nurturing, structured environment.

Currently supporting three Year 1 pupils, the SRP is set to expand — making this a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of a developing specialist provision within a supportive and forward-thinking school.

SEN Teacher – Specialist Resource Provision (Key Stage 1)

Location: Westminster, West London
Start Date: As Soon As Possible
Contract: Full-Time, until July 2026 (potential to extend)
Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience)

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience in specialist or inclusive settings
Strong understanding of ASD and communication needs
    Reflective, creative, and empathetic approach
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Commitment to inclusion and pupil progress

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Create a calm, structured, and positive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, the SENCo, and external professionals
  • Track and celebrate pupil progress through clear, achievable targets
  • Support integration into mainstream settings where appropriate
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with parents and carers

About the School

This inclusive, community-focused Westminster primary has a strong reputation for nurturing the whole child . Staff wellbeing, teamwork, and professional development are at the heart of everything they do. The school’s SRP plays a central role in ensuring every pupil’s unique strengths are celebrated and supported.

How to Apply

If you are a skilled, compassionate SEN Teacher ready to make a real difference, and available to start soon, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today and help shape an inspiring, inclusive learning environment for children with ASD.
