The Opportunity & Role Profile
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to join a large secondary school as its Site Manager (also known as Premises Manager). This role carries significant responsibility for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, security, and cleanliness of the entire campus, leading the site support team.
Core Responsibilities & Scope
- Team Commander: Direct line management and supervision of all Caretaking and cleaning teams, overseeing rotas and performance.
- Compliance Chief: Full responsibility for site security, statutory H&S checks, and managing risk assessments.
- Maintenance Planner: Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance, supervising external contractors, and managing premises budgets in coordination with the School Business Manager.
Compensation & Benefits
- Essential Requirements: Extensive experience in site or premises management, demonstrable maintenance skills, and strong team leadership capability.
- Salary Range: Highly competitive salary (expected to be £40,000 - £50,000 per annum), reflecting Inner London weighting.
- Support: Generous Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and a high level of autonomy.
