Nanny-Housekeeper

Looking for a live in nanny for my 6 year old daughter and 4 year old son.

I have a beautiful 5 bedroom house in leafy East Dulwich and you would have a large double room with a private bathroom ( incl bath tub shared with the children). Very close to local shops, parks, buses, several gyms, and four stops to London Bridge, and also 2 additional stops to Waterloo.

I am a single mum who works in the city in finance. I work from home 2 days a week ( in a home office attached so out of the way!). I am quiet and enjoy reading, yoga and cups of tea and a chat. Advertising as my current nanny is moving out with her boyfriend.

Hours:

- Start 7.30am for a 6pm finish Monday - Friday, plus up to two nights of babysitting a week (included in salary). On Friday's I do the school run in the morning so you start at 10am, still finishing at 6pm. 50 hours a week plus up to two nights of babysitting.
- School run 5 days a week for my daughter, drop off 8.30am and pickup 3.30pm (Wednesdays, 4.30pm)
- School run 3 days a week for my son, drop off 9.30am, pick up 2.30pm

The successful candidate will be caring, energetic and kind, as well as reliable.

Main responsibilities:

- School run, a short bus ride and walk through the park
- Cooking nutritious meals for both me and the children (no allergies) , do online food shopping for the home
- Support with homework and reading each day
- Full time care during school holidays including age-appropriate activities, outings and days out
- Housekeeping for me and the children - laundry and ironing, including bedding and towels, cleaning kitchen after breakfast and dinner, hoovering and cleaning up after meals. I have a cleaner who comes once a fortnight to do a full clean; overseeing the children to do chores
- Help keep the children’s areas tidy and organised
- Monitor and respond to school WhatsApp messages and emails
- Keep track of school notices, activities, events and requirements, manage shared calendar with me
- Organise presents and cards for birthday parties and other occasions
- Support the children’s routines, manners, independence and general wellbeing

Requirements:
Previous professional nanny or childcare experience
Good organisational and communication skills
Ability to prepare healthy family meals
Warm, patient and engaging approach
Reliable, responsible and proactive manner
