We are working with a top-tier independent school in Barnet to find a dynamic Physics Teacher for a full-time, permanent position. The school is a hub of scientific innovation, boasting university-standard laboratories and a strong track record in STEM success.
The Role This role involves teaching General Science at KS3 and Physics to GCSE and A-Level. The department focuses on practical-led inquiry, allowing pupils to explore the laws of the universe through hands-on experimentation. The school is looking for a specialist who can make complex physical concepts accessible and exciting.

Responsibilities
Delivering high-impact Physics lessons with a strong emphasis on practical work.
Coordinating STEM initiatives and preparing pupils for national physics competitions.
Ensuring the highest standards of safety and academic rigour within the laboratories.
Working as part of a high-achieving Science faculty to refine the curriculum.
Requirements
QTS and a degree in Physics or a closely related Engineering field.
The school is unable to offer visa sponsorship; candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
A valid enhanced DBS check.
Salary M1 – UPS3 (£37,870 – £56,154) per annum.
