About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their career growth within a dynamic finance environment. The role sits within our finance team, with responsibility for accounting across our Nordic entities and contributing to the group’s monthly reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice receipt, coding, AP system management, liaising with external accounting firms.
Ensure accurate and timely vendor payments in line with payment terms and internal controls. Perform vendor reconciliations and resolve invoice discrepancies and queries. Support month-end and year-end close, including AP accruals and reconciliations.Assist with tax and statutory requirements related to AP (e.g. VAT, withholding tax where applicable).
Collaborate with procurement, finance, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes.
Contribute to process improvements, automation, and system enhancements within financial operations.
Ad hoc, such as support billing and customer queries, as well as audits by preparing documentation and reports.
What we're looking for:
A detail‑oriented finance professional with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Brings a solid understanding of accounting principles, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Finance & Operations) is an advantage. Fluent in English, with Scandinavian language skills considered a plus. Ideally holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience), with 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
