US Property Claims Broker in London Area
Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a US Property Claims Broker to join a busy London-based team, managing claims from first advice through to settlement. This role is ideal for an organised, proactive professional looking to take ownership of their portfolio and gain broad exposure across claims operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain detailed claims files
- Input documents into internal systems and assess claims
- Produce advice and collection documentation, including London Market submissions where appropriate
- Liaise with accounts teams to ensure prompt payment of claims
- Collect funds from clients and settle with re-insurers within Terms of Trade
- Produce accurate statistics and handle internal and market queries
- Conduct business meetings with clients and re-insurers
- Support general office duties and ad-hoc tasks as required

- Proven experience managing a US Property Claims portfolio
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take initiative and resolve problems independently
- Professional, punctual, and conscientious approach
- Team player with enthusiasm and attention to detail
