Freight Coordinator

Freight Coordinator - Acton - Up to £37,000


You will manage all aspects of fine art import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with HMRC and international regulations. This includes preparing accurate documentation, coordinating with clients and internal teams, arranging packing, transport, and storage, and keeping clients informed throughout the process. You will also prepare quotations and invoices promptly, maintain precise shipment records, and support operational meetings and internal procedures to ensure every shipment is delivered to the highest standard.

Key Skills

Expertise in international shipping, import/export procedures, and HMRC compliance
Experience with air, sea, and road freight, including exhibition shipments
Strong organisational skills; able to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
Attention to detail in documentation and records management
Excellent client communication and relationship management
Proactive problem-solving in fast-paced environments
Collaborative approach across transport, packing, and storage teams
Accurate preparation of quotations and invoices

Prepare and manage export/import documentation for all shipment types
Must have experience in fine art shipments (required)
Must have right to work in the UK (No sponsorship is on offer)
Coordinate logistics, liaising with clients and internal teams
Ensure timely quotations, invoicing, and client updates
Oversee shipping processes, including local, storage, and import tasks when needed
Maintain and update internal logistics records
Organise collections, deliveries, and packing requirements efficiently
