HR Assistant
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support our London human resources team in a fast-paced luxury retail environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on delivering exceptional HR support, and can confidently support day-to-day human resources administrative queries and escalate matters appropriately when necessary.
The HR Assistant will be responsible for the day-to-day HR administration, recruitment coordination and payroll support for our London sites: OXO, Head Office and Knightsbridge.
What you will be doing:
- Deliver high-quality HR administrative support, including contracts, letters, onboarding, offboarding and reference requests
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely updates in HR systems.
- Support monthly payroll processes by preparing and validating data in collaboration with the London HR and payroll team.
- Partner with the Recruitment Business Partner to support recruitment from job posting to offer stage.
- Coordinate interviews, liaise with candidates, and ensure a luxury-standard candidate experience.
- Support onboarding processes to ensure new joiners are welcomed and integrated smoothly.
- Provide support to all administrative and rewards queries received via email/teams/face to face
- Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of HR systems and use of systems and excel to manage HR data and generate reports
- Support communication and activities related to Reward and Wellbeing programs.
- Participate in and contribute to employee engagement initiatives.
- Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and employment legislation, maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.
Profile:
- Some experience in a generalist HR role
- Sound understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Energetic, positive, and solutions-focused.
- Professional, discreet in all interactions.
- Passionate about delivering a high-quality HR service.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and HR systems
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
