Quantity Surveyor Project Manager (Career Transition Opportunity)

A specialist Project & Development Management Consultancy is offering a rare opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to transition into Project Management.
You'll join a small, growing team of Project Managers, initially splitting your time between hands–on Quantity Surveying (currently outsourced) and developing your Project Management expertise through structured training and exposure to live projects.
Projects span the education, residential, heritage, and leisure sectors – complex, design–led schemes requiring strong client engagement and multi–stakeholder coordination.
They are looking for someone with:
Strong client–facing and communication skills Confidence managing complex projects Interest in business development, networking, and bid preparation This is a consultancy with a robust pipeline, high profit per head, and a clear plan for growth. You'll play a pivotal role as the in–house Quantity Surveying lead, developing that capability while advancing your Project Management career.
For the right person, there's genuine long–term potential to take on ownership and leadership responsibilities within the business.
