Early Years Practitioner in Crystal Palace
Make a difference to children's development from a young age as an Early Years Practitioner in an inclusive and vibrant nursery located in Crystal Palace .
The suitable Early Years Practitioner should hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years, and previous experience working in a childcare setting would be desirable. This is a full time position to work Monday-Friday.
This is a nursery with excellent resources, including a private garden and a sensory room, as well as regular days out to extend children's learning and stimulate their imagination. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be:
- Following the EYFS curriculum to assist children with the development of early reading and early maths skills
- Supporting children with their personal, social and emotional development
- Using your knowledge of early childhood development and will have excellent understanding of EYFS
- Supporting and assisting with early reading, vocabulary, literacy and communication development
- Able to work collaboratively within a team and have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Carrying out observations and tracking/assessing children's progress and development
