Project Manager
- Develop and Manage Project Plans: Create detailed project plans, including timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation, to effectively communicate project objectives and specifications.
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate project meetings, manage stakeholder communications, and drive consensus to ensure alignment and manage expectations.
- Risk Management: Assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee Project Execution: Coordinate with development and quality assurance teams to ensure project milestones are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Monitor Progress: Track project progress, identify potential issues or roadblocks, and propose solutions to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Industry Awareness: Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital innovation and online broking tools and platforms.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Essential: Proven experience as a Project Manager gained in the general insurance industry or Lloyd's market.
- Desirable: Experience in managing digital innovation projects or the development of business tools and platforms-specifically Quote and Bind tools.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and drive successful outcomes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Project Management Proficiency: Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, including project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
- Agile Experience: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
- Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of digital technologies, online broking tools, and platforms, including mobile applications, web development, APIs, and data analytics.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Innovative Mindset: Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for driving innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
