Nursery Manager for a New Nursery

Banana Moon Day Nurseries, an award-winning and much-loved nursery franchise, is opening an exciting new setting in Hounslow. Housed in a beautiful historic building with generous natural outdoor spaces and a private rear garden, this is more than just a job — it’s your chance to shape a brand-new nursery from the ground up.

As Nursery Manager, you’ll work alongside a supportive team to oversee the setup, recruitment, marketing, and successful launch of this new setting. You’ll bring your leadership, creativity, and passion for early years education to life in a role that offers both challenge and reward.

🌱 What you'll be doing

• Leading the setup of the nursery, creating an inspiring, safe, and nurturing environment for children and staff alike.
• Driving recruitment, marketing, sales and community engagement in preparation for opening and beyond.
• Embedding the Banana Moon ethos of quality care, curiosity, and learning through play.
• Managing the day-to-day running of the setting, including compliance with all statutory requirements (EYFS, safeguarding, health & safety).
• Supporting, developing and motivating your team to achieve excellence.
• Opportunities to take on additional regional duties as part of your progression — with genuine promotional prospects.

Requirements

✅ What we're looking for

• A minimum of NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Childcare/Early Years Education .
• Enhanced DBS clearance within the child workforce sector .
• At least 2 years post-qualifying experience and 2 years experience managing a nursery setting or similar .
• A confident, positive leader with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for early years.
• Someone who thrives on a challenge and is excited by the idea of building a team and community from scratch.
