A friendly and ambitious primary school in Westminster is seeking a passionate Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their dedicated team from January 2026 . This is a full-time, permanent position , offering an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pupils’ learning and development in the early years of their primary education.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1
- Strong understanding of phonics, early reading, and foundational learning
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Enthusiastic, reflective, and adaptable practitioner
- Commitment to inclusive education and high expectations for all pupils
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across KS1 to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing effective feedback and setting targets for improvement.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that supports holistic development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum units, share best practice, and contribute to school initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers to promote pupil learning, progress, and wellbeing.
- Take an active role in school life, including professional development, assemblies, and extracurricular activities.
