Reception Teacher - Kingston

An ambitious Kingston school is seeking a skilled Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team full-time, beginning January 2026. The Reception Teacher will lead a lively cohort, deliver structured phonics and early maths, and develop continuous provision that promotes vocabulary, independence and physical development. The Reception Teacher will prepare resources prior to January 2026, take part in induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as the Reception Teacher.

• Reception Teacher - Full-Time post available with a January 2026 start.
• Reception Teacher to join a friendly Kingston primary - planning and induction begin January 2026.
• Reception Teacher will access bespoke CPD from January 2026 onwards.

Reception Teacher Responsibilities
The Reception Teacher will: plan and deliver daily systematic phonics as the Reception Teacher; lead shared reading and mark-making sessions as the Reception Teacher; design continuous indoor and outdoor provision as the Reception Teacher; assess progress against the Early Learning Goals and communicate with families as the Reception Teacher. The Reception Teacher will also help coordinate transition into Year 1 around January 2026 and beyond.

Reception Teacher Requirements
We are looking for a Reception Teacher with QTS/EYTS, strong EYFS subject knowledge and confident behaviour management. The Reception Teacher should be reflective, collaborative and excited to start in post from January 2026. Availability for planning before January 2026 and induction in January 2026 is essential for the Reception Teacher.
