Computer Science Teacher
You would be joining a forward-thinking Computing department where innovation and creativity are central to the curriculum. The department is well equipped with modern ICT suites, specialist software and excellent resources that allow students to develop both theoretical understanding and practical programming skills.
Students study a broad curriculum including programming, algorithms, cyber security, data representation, computer systems and software development. Lessons encourage logical thinking, creativity and independent problem-solving, preparing students for both examinations and future careers within the technology sector.
The department has established links with local employers and universities, providing enrichment through coding clubs, robotics competitions, STEM activities and industry workshops. Teachers work collaboratively to share ideas, develop engaging resources and ensure students make excellent progress across all key stages.
