This successful secondary school requires a highly organized and skilled Science Technician to provide essential support to the Science faculty. The role involves preparing practical apparatus and chemicals across all three sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring safe and inspiring hands-on learning.
Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope
- Lab Preparer: Setting up apparatus, preparing chemical solutions, and organizing biological materials for daily practical lessons and examinations (GCSE).
- Safety Champion: Ensuring strict compliance with CLEAPSS and school safety guidelines, managing chemical storage, and maintaining a secure lab environment.
- Resource Coordinator: Assisting the Senior Technician with inventory management, basic maintenance of equipment, and stock ordering.
