An Outstanding secondary school in Haringey requires a permanent, full-time Drama Teacher for a January 2026 start. This crucial role is within a highly successful Arts department, known for strong examination results and vibrant theatrical production.

Responsibilities

  • The Drama Teacher will deliver high-quality instruction across Key Stages 3, 4 (GCSE), and 5 (A-Level).
  • The teacher is responsible for driving high attainment and encouraging advanced performance skills, critical analysis, and technical proficiency.
  • They must organise, direct, and lead school productions and performance workshops.
  • The Drama Teacher is expected to ensure consistent high academic results for all pupils, particularly those preparing for competitive drama schools or higher education.
  • The teacher must participate proactively in curriculum planning and support co-curricular drama clubs.

Requirements

  • Holds or is soon to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has the right to work in the UK.
  • Holds a Degree or has experience teaching Drama.
