Teaching Assistant Needed in Newham
Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: Newham Salary: £80 - £105 per day Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Long Term Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 03:30pm Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning journey? An Outstanding Primary School in Newham is looking for caring, enthusiastic, and committed Teaching Assistants to join their inclusive and welcoming team. Your Role as a Teaching Assistant: Support pupils one-to-one and in small groups to help them succeed Assist in delivering Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Create a warm, engaging and inclusive learning environment Encourage social, emotional, and academic development Help manage classroom behaviour and daily routines Monitor progress and provide feedback to the class teacher ✅ What We're Looking From a Teaching Assistant: Experience working with children (school-based preferred) A positive, patient, and proactive approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine interest in inclusive education SEN experience is a plus Relevant qualifications or training are welcome but not essential What this School in Newham Offers: A friendly and supportive school community Ongoing training and development opportunities A team that values your contribution and growth The chance to make a real difference every single day Please note: A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection is essential.
