US - UK Private Client Tax Director (Path to Partnership!) - London, UK
Our client is one of London's largest professional services firms in the London market. Due to continued growth thew now seek to hire a US/UK Tax Director to join their growing Private Client practice with revenues in the millions.
This team is advisory led meaning at the core of what they do their focus is on acting as a trusted advisor to their clients. This is an exciting time to join a team in it's prime stages of growth with a consistent inbound workflow, and a great opportunity to business develop and win new work and clientele, whilst leading from the front on strategy, delivery and growing market share.
You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working pro-actively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.
You will be someone with a US Enrolled Agent license and an ATT designation as a minimum. Those possessing the CTA qualification will be favoured. You will have experience in signing out tax Forms 1040, 1040NR, 8858, 5471’s/ 8865, 3520’s. You will have a strong understanding of CFCs, Subpart F income, GILTI and the potential election planning that can be done to mitigate these factors. You will have an emerging reputation in the marketplace and familiarity working in conjunction with lawyers, wealth advisers and other professionals that support SHNW individuals with US aspects to their lives.
