Family Solicitor (Private Family)

If youre a private family solicitor who wants to focus on what you do best (divorce and financial remedy work) this is a brilliant opportunity to join our client in the Bromley area . Youll step into a well-established caseload with the support to deliver excellent outcomes without being pulled into public law children matters.

The opportunity

This role is suited to a confident private family fee earner who enjoys running matters end-to-end building trusted client relationships and delivering pragmatic advice in emotionally charged situations.

What youll be doing

• Managing a caseload of private family matters with a clear focus on:
  • Divorce
  • Financial remedy / ancillary relief
• Advising clients from initial instruction through to resolution (negotiated settlements and where required contested proceedings)
• Drafting and reviewing key documents and correspondence
• Liaising with counsel experts and third parties as needed
• Contributing to a positive team culture and maintaining high client-care standards

What our client is looking for

• 5 years PQE as a Family Solicitor (or equivalent experience)
• Strong UK private family law experience with demonstrable exposure to:
  • Divorce and financial remedy matters
• Not suitable for candidates whose experience is primarily:
  • Public law children
  • Dabbling in private family without meaningful divorce/finances caseload ownership
• Excellent client communication drafting and case management skills
• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent UK qualification)
