Brand Ambassador (6 months contract from Feb 26) M/F

We currently looking for a Brand Ambassador to join our Wholesale UK team for a short term contract (maternity Cover). This role is responsible for creating and cultivating brand awareness as the main liaison between PARIS HO and Key Wholesale Partners: Harvey Nichols , Harrods & Selfridges.
Responsible for driving in-store business through customer interaction, product knowledge and visual merchandising. Accountable for Visual Merchandising Directives as provided by the EU VM Manager.
Management of the sales teams and organization of the three department stores and the brand’s various corners.
The role is supports London wholesale and Include mobility between the three department stores.
Key responsibilities:
Sales
- Establish and cultivate strong relationships with Zimmermann sales team, personal shoppers, stylists and sales floor personnel to support in overall door sales
- Enhance the customer experience within the network to exceed sales goals by educating customers on the brand and product, and creating a personalized experience
Product Knowledge
- Develop all client-facing seasonal training materials to support BA program for UK
- Execute seasonal clinics within all region doors to educate store teams on the brand, new collections and key product details including fabric, fit, trim, technology and styling
Visual Merchandising
- Work closely with Zimmermann VM Manager and Wholesale Manager to acquire visual merchandising plans for each account, providing wholesale-specific feedback to maximize functionality of materials
- Develop and distribute individual door VM for flagships based on provided broader account materials from VM manager
- Execute and maintain visual presentation to Zimmermann standard, based on provided guidelines for merchandising, as well as steaming and general garment care
- Develop relationships with visual merchandising teams within each door, leveraging the relationship to secure optimal stock placement and mannequin or window features
- Develop relationships with stock teams to ensure new stock is placed on the floor expediently and in line with visual standards
- Work closely with VM Manager, VP of Wholesale and Wholesale Manager on optimal brand placement at a door level, monitoring visibility, brand adjacencies, and any extemporary opportunities
- Distribute visual merchandising summaries to the Wholesale team with each store visit
Business Development
- Update by-door style selling for applicable accounts and analyze door level selling as a team to highlight insights and opportunities
- Monitor inventory levels in-store and coordinate with Wholesale Manager to maximize productivity
- Build positive partnerships with store and department managers and regularly discuss current business and opportunities
- Identify and escalate in-store marketing opportunities to Wholesale Manager and VP of Wholesale, including but not limited to sales or VM contests, personal shopping events, staff promotions or trunk shows
- Identify issues and opportunities to maximize sales, including but not limited to store placement, events, inventory or customer acquisition, and work with Wholesale Manager to create action plans to support growth
- Report key findings on product feedback and customer needs to VP of Wholesale, Wholesale Manager and President, providing any relevant feedback inclusive of fit, pricing, sizing, print, or any additional information, through proactive store visit reports
- Review each door’s sales performance at monthly intervals to monitor growth and opportunity, based on year over year sales volume
Skills and Specifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience working in luxury department stores, Visual Merchandise experience and a proven track record of successfully prioritizing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine passion and understanding of luxury designer fashion.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, responding promptly to customer needs, soliciting customer feedback to improve level of service, and relaying detailed reports and feedback to Management.
- Must be always looking for new ways to drive sales, promote and elevate the brand’s presence, and enhance customer experience.
- A thorough knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word and MS Power-point.
- A high level of organizational and time management skills.
- Must be comfortable working autonomously as well as in a team environment
