About the Client
Our client is a fast-growing fintech company operating in the payments space under a regulated Electronic Money Institution (EMI) framework.
The company focuses on delivering modern acquiring solutions for digital and high-growth businesses, combining strong regulatory foundations with a product-driven and agile culture. The team is scaling rapidly, with an emphasis on building robust financial and operational infrastructure.
Role Overview
This is a senior leadership role working closely with the CFO as a strategic and operational partner.
The Finance Manager will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building scalable financial processes. This position combines high-level financial leadership with hands-on execution across planning, treasury, and governance. The role involves active communication with international teams.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the CFO on financial strategy, governance, and overall business performance
Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and company-wide planning processes
Drive financial analysis, profitability optimization, and support strategic decision-making
Oversee treasury, liquidity management, and capital allocation
Ensure full compliance with regulatory frameworks (EMI, FCA) and manage audits and regulator interactions
Supervise safeguarding, client funds reconciliation, and regulatory reporting
Improve financial processes, controls, and systems to support scaling operations
Requirements
5+ years of experience in finance management, FP&A, audit, or similar financial roles
Deep understanding of EMI/FCA regulations, safeguarding, and regulatory reporting
Experience with financial planning, scaling businesses, and driving profitability
Hands-on experience working with regulators and managing audits
Strong expertise in treasury, liquidity, and capital management
