Warehouse Operative
gap personnel are currently seeking reliable Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and growing warehouse team based in Rainham. This is a hands-on role suited to individuals who are hardworking, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
Position: Warehouse Operative
Location: Rainham
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 18:00
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling incoming and outgoing goods efficiently
- Preparing customer orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy at all times
- Organising stock within the warehouse and keeping locations clearly maintained
- Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
- Carrying out stock checks and reporting discrepancies
- Packaging items securely and labelling correctly
- Supporting general upkeep of the warehouse, ensuring a safe and tidy workspace
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily targets
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
- Good level of communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items when required
- Comfortable working on your feet throughout the shift
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
