We are excited to present an opportunity for a passionate Year 1 Teacher to join a thriving Independent School in Merton from January 2026 . From January 2026 , the appointed Full-Time Year 1 Teacher will be responsible for inspiring pupils and supporting them through their early KS1 journey.

The Year 1 Teacher Role

• Deliver an engaging and creative KS1 curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Track progress effectively and provide personalised support.
• Contribute to the Independent School’s extra-curricular and enrichment programmes.
• Work as part of a collaborative team to uphold the school’s values and ethos.

Requirements

• QTS and experience in KS1.
• A passion for nurturing young learners.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
