Repairs Manager

WeMaintain
London

🌍 Who are we?

In 2017, after more than ten years in the lift industry across Europe and Asia, Benoît Dupont noticed a system stuck in its ways where speed takes priority over quality and frontline teams remain invisible.

With Jade Francine and Tristan Foureur , he founded WeMaintain to put technology, trust and people back at the heart of building maintenance. Their ambition: give technicians back their autonomy, rely on in-house IoT technology, and deliver a service designed for users and clients.

Based in Paris, London, Singapore and Hong Kong , we maintain lifts, escalators, automatic doors and fire safety systems. With 300+ employees, we combine on-the-ground expertise with data-driven management to deliver high-performing, transparent, and sustainable maintenance.

We don’t just maintain buildings. We transform how they’re operated.

👥 Why join us?

Because here, you don’t have to choose between autonomy and stability.

Large groups often offer stability, but little room to manoeuvre. Smaller organisations allow more freedom, but sometimes without clear direction.

At WeMaintain, we strike the right balance:

  • Real autonomy, with modern tools and strong support

  • A culture built on trust, transparency and respect

  • Genuine opportunities for growth and internal mobility

  • A team that values commitment, perseverance and the drive to make things happen

And our values guide us every day:

  • Care: Working with respect and kindness, internally as well as with our customers

  • Grit: Seeing things through, with high standards and determination

  • Uniqueness: Daring to be yourself, sharing your ideas and challenging the status quo

👀 Who we’re looking for?

We are looking for a Repairs Manager to join our Repair team in London .

We are seeking an experienced Repairs Manager to lead and coordinate lift and escalator repair operations within one of our London based service branches. This role is responsible for managing branch-based repair activities from initial survey through to completion, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest technical and customer standards.
You will oversee a team of field engineers and specialist subcontractors, manage repair quotations, planning schedules and act as the key point of contact for customers throughout the lifecycle of repair works. Working closely with the Service Operations teams, you will play a pivotal role in driving service performance, customer satisfaction, and repair revenue growth across the branch.

📌 Your day-to-day at WeMaintain

As a Repairs Manager , you will:

  • Lead and manage lift and escalator repair operations across our portfolio

  • Plan and allocate engineers, subcontractors, and resources efficiently

  • Conduct or review technical surveys and repair scopes

  • Prepare quotations, budgets, and schedules for repair works

  • Ensure all work meets health & safety standards and industry regulations

  • Be the main point of contact for customers during repair projects

  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency

  • Manage and mentor your team to deliver high-quality results

👑 What we're looking for

You’re a great fit if you:

  • Proven experience in the lift/elevator industry, ideally in repairs or maintenance

  • Strong technical knowledge of lift repair works

  • Leadership experience managing engineers or technical teams

  • Commercial awareness — ability to manage budgets and costs

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills

  • Strong customer service skills and communication

  • Full driving licence

🌟 Bonus points if

  • You have experience with multiple lift manufacturers, or supervisory qualifications.

  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering

🔥 What success looks like

  • Deliver strong results across lift repair projects and KPIs, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to required technical standards

  • Collaborate effectively with field engineers, technical supervisors, operations teams, suppliers, and customers to coordinate repair activities and resolve issues quickly

  • Take ownership and move projects forward with high autonomy and proactivity, managing surveys, quotations, scheduling, and on-site challenges through to completion

  • Continuously improve repair processes, planning methods, and ways of working, contributing to operational efficiency, safety performance, and overall team success

🎁 What we offer

  • A role with real ownership and room to grow

  • Strong support from your manager and team

  • Internal mobility opportunities across teams and locations

  • A mission-driven company with a high bar for quality and safety

  • Benefits: private healthcare, pension and more
