Job Description



Our London Southeast Region, located in the Aldgate and Croydon offices, boasts a strong track record in delivering Rail Projects, across London and the South East of England. 

We are currently seeking a Senior Rail Project Manager to join our expanding team, which is poised to take on a growing pipeline of projects within the region and across our Managed Services Portfolio. Each team member benefits from a personalized development plan, ensuring a clear pathway for personal growth and career advancement.

Our team provides technical leadership throughout the entire infrastructure lifecycle, from feasibility studies to preliminary and detailed design stages. Our diverse clientele includes both private and public sector entities, such as major custodians of the UK’s rail network, various local authorities, and leading contractors.

Exciting opportunities are emerging as we expand our project pipeline, which is expected to include the following initiatives:

  • West London Orbital
  • Thamesmead Expansion
  • Southern Renewal Enterprise Framework

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Oversee: Manage one or more highly complex projects.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with our clients across a national geographic footprint, engaging in projects that encompass a full spectrum of services.
  • Provide Expertise and Ensure Quality: Navigate complexities, including projects involving litigation, environmental protection, and due diligence.
  • Deliver: Manage all phases of projects from initiation to closeout, including obtaining necessary consents and regulatory approvals.
  • Mentor: Guide and support other Project Managers in their professional development.

Qualifications



Ready to push the limits of what’s possible?

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Chartered Engineer and/or Project Manager (or working towards accreditation)
  • Relevant project management experience, preferably in the rail sector
  • Experience working with Network Rail, TfL, HS2 and other local authorities, and their relevant standards and assurance processes
  • Must be able to travel and visit sites if required
