Premises Manager - Romford
A large, modern secondary school in Romford is seeking an experienced, reliable and forward-thinking Premises Manager for an immediate start . This is a full-time, year-round position ideal for someone skilled in school site management, maintenance, compliance and team leadership.
About the Role
You will oversee the smooth running of the entire school estate, ensuring the site is safe, secure, compliant and well maintained. Responsibilities include:
Leading the premises team and overseeing daily tasks
Managing maintenance schedules and repairs
Ensuring building compliance (H&S, fire safety, contractor checks, risk assessments)
Overseeing cleaning standards and security procedures
Managing budgets, contractors and refurbishment projects
Conducting daily, weekly and monthly safety inspections
Responding to emergencies, out-of-hours issues and operational needs
You are a key figure in the school community, ensuring the environment remains safe and functional for students and staff.

Experience Needed
