DT Teacher (Food Technology) – Deliver KS4 Catering Curriculum to Motivated Students – Newham
A vibrant academy in Newham is seeking a dedicated DT Teacher with a specialism in Food Technology/Catering to manage and deliver the curriculum from January 2026.

You will teach Food Technology across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE Food Preparation & Nutrition or BTEC Catering). The role involves managing the food budget, maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, and developing students' practical exam techniques.
Experience and Qualifications
- QTS and a degree in Food Technology, Catering, or Home Economics.
- Proven experience teaching GCSE Food Preparation & Nutrition is essential.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current food science and safety regulations.
- Commitment to running healthy eating or baking clubs.
