What the Year 5 Teacher will do
• Plan, teach and assess ambitious Year 5 lessons; as Year 5 Teacher you will foster independence and reasoning.
• The Year 5 Teacher will use assessment to personalise learning and run targeted interventions.
• The Year 5 Teacher will liaise with parents, lead trips and organise enrichment activities for Year 5.
• Work with colleagues to ensure progression from Year 4 and smooth transition into Year 6.

Who we’re looking for
• QTS and proven Year 5 / KS2 experience as a Year 5 Teacher.
• A Year 5 Teacher with strong subject knowledge, excellent behaviour management and creativity.
• Someone ready to start in January 2026 and commit to the Full-Time Year 5 Teacher role through the academic year.

Contract and start
This is a Full-Time Year 5 Teacher vacancy; the Full-Time contract begins January 2026 . Induction and mentoring will be provided from January 2026 to support the Year 5 Teacher settling in and making immediate impact.
