Attendance Officer
A Good secondary school in Enfield is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Attendance Officer to join their pastoral and administrative team. This is a key role focused on improving student attendance, ensuring accurate record-keeping and supporting students to engage fully with their education.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring daily attendance, following up on absences and working closely with students, parents and staff to improve attendance rates. You will analyse attendance data, identify patterns and implement strategies to support students who are at risk of persistent absence.
You will also liaise with external agencies where necessary and ensure that all attendance procedures are followed in line with school policies and statutory requirements. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be regularly engaging with parents and carers to support positive outcomes.
The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive information confidentially. A proactive and solution-focused approach is essential, along with a genuine commitment to student wellbeing and success.
