Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN in a busy school environment
Implement strategies outlined in EHCPs and individual support plans
Support pupils with focus, organisation, and task completion
Assist with emotional regulation and anxiety management
Adapt learning materials to suit individual learning needs
Support positive behaviour using consistent and proactive approaches
Encourage independence while offering appropriate reassurance
Support pupils during transitions between lessons and activities
Communicate effectively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff
Contribute observations to reviews and progress meetings
Some roles may involve aspects of personal care or physical support, depending on pupil needs. All training will be provided, and safeguarding and dignity will always be prioritised.
