Learning Support Assistant in Sidcup

Then look no further! This primary school in Sidcup, Bexley is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to start with them either ASAP or in January.Joining a team of likeminded staff as a LSA, you would be working full-time and making a real impact to children's lives and development.
As a Learning Support Assistant, your days will be spent:
- Planning learning interventions which you will deliver to students both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, and monitoring their progress to help plan further sessions
- Providing support for children who need help with communication, language and literacy
- Supporting children with SEND within the classroom to ensure they are able to access the entire curriculum and reach their full potential
- Ensuring a supportive and encouraging learning environment that allows every child to thrive
- Providing support for non-verbal children through Speech and Language activities
- Supporting key children in reaching the targets on their EHCPs
This is a long-term Learning Support Assistant role to last until the end of the academic year in July 2025 at least, with the potential for it to become permanent down the line.
Working with your key children across the school year will allow you to see the impact your support has on their progress and development, as well as building good rapport with students and staff alike.
