Learning Support Assistant in Sidcup

Learning Support Assistant position now available at a welcoming primary school in Sidcup, Bexley!
Working as part of a team of dedicated support staff as an LSA, you will be:
- Supporting children with SEND so they can reach their full potential and access the full curriculum
- Planning and delivering different learning intervention programmes and monitoring the progress of children
- Providing support for children who need help with communication, language and literacy
- Supporting key children to help them reach the targets on their EHCPs
- Providing support for non-verbal children with Speech and Language activities
- Supporting students with SEND on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis or in small groups where necessary
- Working full time: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm
As this Learning Support Assistant role is long term and expected to last until the end of the academic year, you will have the chance to watch your key children progress and develop across the school year, seeing first hand how your support and hard work has made a difference. There is also the possibility for the role to become permanent in the future for the suitable LSA.
