Your new role
Support the delivery of audit assignments in line with internal policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, contributing across all phases of the audit life cycle including planning, fieldwork, and reporting. The role involves preparing high-quality audit work papers, supporting investigations, special reviews, and ad-hoc activities, and assisting with the timely production of audit reports. You will participate in continuous monitoring of the control environment, contribute to risk assessments and the annual audit plan, validate the closure of management action plans, and support the wider Internal Audit function with related activities as required.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate is degree-educated, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics, with a professional qualification such as CPA, ACA, ACCA or CIA being advantageous. They will have experience in Internal Audit, assurance or risk and control functions within the Financial Services sector, ideally banking, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality outputs to defined timelines. Strong knowledge of retail and corporate banking products, associated risks and controls is required, with data analytics skills seen as an added advantage. The individual will demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills, work proactively, and be a collaborative team player capable of building effective relationships with stakeholders.
