J oin nPlan — build the cities of the future
We’re nPlan, a Series B startup backed by leading investors, including Google Ventures. Our technology helps the world’s biggest construction projects make faster, more confident, data-driven decisions. Our customers are the largest owner/operators of energy, utility and mass transit in the world, such as Chevron, Network Rail and National Grid.
By combining one of the world’s largest datasets of project plans with advanced machine learning, we forecast project outcomes and reduce risk — reshaping how major projects in construction and infrastructure get built.
The Role
We are looking for someone to join us at an exciting time for nPlan, as we expand our category-creating product set to deliver against the full project controls loop and drive the next stage of our growth. This role, reporting into the CTO and sitting on the Senior Leadership Team, will not only be an instrumental leader driving delivery against this vision but also lead from the front in adopting new ways of working adapted to a world where building is faster and cheaper than ever before, thanks to evolutions in AI tools.
We are looking for someone who can drive both exceptional execution - think shipping products in months not years - and also partner with our CTO, SLT, and wider team to shape the vision for our product offering. You will have had prior experience at a B2B, enterprise-focused Series A-C scale-up, will be fluent in the technology behind AI systems, and be customer obsessed. You will lead a team that combines both product and customer-facing deployment engineers, bringing a customer focus to the role and company.
This is a UK-based role requiring some travel into our London office.

• Ensure product investments drive sustainable commercial growth
Scale from product-market fit to global platform
• Lead the transition from strong PMF to scalable, repeatable growth
• Strengthen enterprise-grade reliability, usability, and defensibility
• Balance innovation velocity with execution discipline
Lead AI product excellence
• Shape how AI and forecasting capabilities are embedded into core customer workflows
• Establish experimentation frameworks and performance metrics
• Navigate the complexity of deploying AI solutions in high-stakes enterprise
environments
Build and lead an AI-native product organisation
• Develop and scale a high-performing product team geared towards shipping in record time
• Create clarity around roles, ownership, and decision-making
• Embed new, AI-native ways of working that take advantage of faster, cheaper time to product
• Elevate product thinking across the company
Partner across the executive team
• Act as a strategic partner to the CTO and leadership team
• Align product with Engineering, Research, Sales, and Marketing
• Represent product internally and externally with credibility and authority
Key Qualifications
• Significant product leadership experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology
• Experience operating at VP level or equivalent scope
• A track record of scaling products from early PMF through growth stage
• Deep familiarity with AI/ML-driven products and their unique lifecycle challenges
• Experience leading complex, enterprise-grade platforms
• Strong collaboration with commercial teams to drive adoption and expansion
• Ability to thrive in founder-led, high-ambiguity environments
Attention to detail, which you will be able to demonstrate by mentioning the word ‘ crane ’ in your application.
Benefits Include:
• Shape the future of AI in infrastructure
• Influence company-level strategy alongside founders
• Build products that impact multi-billion-pound megaprojects
• Flexible working hours, Shoreditch-based office
• Enhanced benefits including uncapped holiday, private medical insurance, learning and
development budget, enhanced family and sick leave policies, and more
