Skills and Competencies

  • Professional experience in sales, sales operations and/or customer success roles
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and organise high-velocity competing workflows
  • Ability to present high-level information as well as detailed demonstrations of products & services
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and high attention to detail
  • Fluency in English and French is essential
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency
  • Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use

Education

  • Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) required, preferably with coursework in business, economics, finance, marketing or related fields.

Responsibilities

This sales role as an Account Manager focuses on managing and growing MA’s business within an assigned portfolio of existing clients. The Account Manager is mainly responsible for minimizing attrition within a given book of business - managing sales cycles, expanding engagement, optimizing renewals, and reducing cancellation risk. Work closely with clients to understand their workflows, challenges, and strategic priorities, providing tailored guidance that demonstrates clear, measurable value from our solutions.

  • Conduct qualitative assessments of client usage to identify adoption gaps, under utilised features, and opportunities to increase engagement. Track user level activity, and drive adoption.
  • Monitor client usage patterns to detect early signs of disengagement and take action to re establish value and momentum.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients and internal Support teams, ensuring timely resolution of issues and smooth product usage.
  • Work closely with Customer Success to assess account health, and ensure clients achieve maximum value from our services.
  • Identify potential new users across different regions and business units, coordinating onboarding and activation across multiple time zones.
  • Manage commercial aspects of renewals and upsells, including pricing, proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Develop and follow best practices to ensure timely and successful execution of renewal processes and contract workflows.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of client interactions, pipeline activity, and commercial opportunities.
  • Engage with clients face to face through up to 50% travel, while benefiting from the flexibility of a hybrid working model.
