Live-In / Live-Out Nanny – One-Year-Old Girl (Permanent)

Salary: £40,000–£50,000 depending on experience
Hours: 45 hours over 5 days

About us

We are a fun, respectful and hands-on family looking for an exceptional nanny for our happy one-year-old daughter, who truly is a dream to be with (honestly!). We also have two very loved dogs who are very much part of family life. We are based in our spacious country home in Marlow and work closely with our nanny as a team.

The role

This is a key role in our daughter’s early years. We’re looking for someone experienced, proactive and genuinely passionate about toddler development, ideally with a Montessori or child-led approach. She adores sensory classes, being outdoors and learning through play.

You’ll confidently support milestones such as walking, language, independence and social development, while creating a fun, stimulating routine through play, reading, singing, classes and plenty of fresh air. You’ll also be confident with toddler nutrition, routines, naps, bottle transitions and day-to-day development updates.

We want someone hands-on, active and excited by this brilliant age.

Experience

You will have 3–5+ years’ nanny experience, strong toddler experience, and a relevant childcare qualification (CACHE Level 3 or equivalent) essential. A confident driver is essential (car provided), along with a calm, organised approach and comfort around dogs. We are looking for someone seeking a genuine long-term role.

Travel

We travel throughout the year on and would love someone who also enjoys both sun and snow holidays, including trips to our chalet in Megève.

Hours and rota

We genuinely respect that our nanny has a life outside of ours. In return for flexibility and commitment, we work hard to give that back.

• 45 hours across 5 days
• Rota provided 2 weeks in advance
• Typical shifts: 9:30–6:30 | 11:00–8:00 | 2:00–11:00
• 1 planned sleepover per week (she sleeps through)
• 2 days off per week
• 1–2 full weekends off per month (1 is guaranteed)
• Additional hours paid as overtime or time off in lieu

Accommodation

This role can be live-in, live-out or hybrid. A lovely private en-suite room is available in our home in Marlow and while travelling.

Package

20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and a discretionary annual bonus.
