SEN TA - Richmond - January 2026
Are you a committed and proactive SEN TA who wants to make a real difference in children’s lives? A welcoming and supportive primary school in Richmond is seeking a dedicated SEN TA to join their team from January 2026.
This SEN TA post in Richmond will begin in January 2026, with a full induction and training programme provided before January 2026. The SEN TA will work closely with pupils who require additional academic, social or emotional support, ensuring they feel safe, confident and supported throughout the school day.
As a SEN TA working in Richmond, you will provide personalised one-to-one support, run small-group intervention sessions and assist with maintaining a calm and structured classroom environment. The SEN TA will form an integral part of the Richmond inclusion team, working closely with the SENCo and teaching staff.
Key responsibilities
- Provide tailored one-to-one and small-group support
- Help pupils access learning activities and classroom routines
- Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
- Maintain accurate records of progress and provision
- Communicate effectively with staff and families in Richmond
Ideal candidate
- Experience supporting pupils with additional needs as a SEN TA
- Calm, consistent and caring approach to pupil support
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Available for January 2026
