Junior Nanny in SW19, Job ID J1F45D
This lovely family based in Wimbledon, London, is looking for a Junior Nanny to provide an extra pair of hands in caring for their two children. The family will initially need support with nursery runs as both parents are working. The role will require standard childcare duties to include some cooking and some light housekeeping as part of the family. The ideal candidate should be comfortable preparing healthy, nutritious food and snacks, particularly when the eldest starts school. The family are looking for a warm, kind, organised and proactive person to support them and work as part of a team. The role would have plenty of free time during the day and location is in an area with great transport links into London. Someone who holds a full driving license would be a bonus but not required. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 8:30 am and 5.30 pm to 8:00 pm
Accommodation: Either a double room or a single room with an ensuite bathroom
Duties include:
- Supporting the children’s morning and evening routines.
- Assisting with getting the children ready and helping with dressing before nursery.
- Preparing and serving breakfast.
- Taking the children to nursery (drop-off).
- Providing afternoon care and picking the children up from nursery.
- Assisting with dinner, bath time, and overall evening wind-down.
- Helping with children’s washing and maintaining good hygiene routines.
- Keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy.
- Cooking simple and healthy meals for the children.
- The family has a cat; occasional pet care may be required when the family is away.
