SEND Teaching Assistant – KS1 & KS2 (Tottenham)

Salary: £90–£100 per day (PAYE – no umbrella hassle)

A welcoming North London primary school is on the lookout for a skilled SEND Teaching Assistant to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The pupils you'll support need consistency, kindness, and someone who’s got the confidence to step in when things get tricky.
This isn’t just a classroom support role. It’s an opportunity to shape a child’s whole day, every day.
What you’ll be doing:
Working 1:1 and in small groups with pupils with SEND (including ASD, SEMH, and ADHD)
Helping children build trust, routine, and confidence across learning and play
Using de-escalation strategies and sensory interventions to manage emotional and behavioural needs
Working with class teachers, parents, and the school’s pastoral and inclusion teams to ensure consistency and progress
What we’re looking for:
Team Teach or PEBS trained
Experience supporting children with SEND in KS1 or KS2
A calm, proactive approach and a strong sense of humour
Someone confident supporting children with regulation, transitions, and behaviour plans
