What you’ll be doing
- Identifying new business opportunities by recommending and shaping the pipeline based on market trends and white space.
- Focusing on early-stage opportunity identification and qualification, and possessing full sales cycle ownership
- Building relationships, engaging with and influencing stakeholders in relevant verticals
- Value proposition design - feeds insight to refine messaging for nurture campaigns based on buyer insight
- Conducting market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and customer needs
- Identifying procurement routes and timelines, helping shape early positioning.
- Stakeholder engagement across the region or vertical, building net new relationships

What we would like to see on your CV
- Significant experience in business development, particularly in the transport, manufacturing and retail industries
- Track record of winning major acquisition business with corporate customers
- Telco/ICT or technology sales industry experience is preferable
- Has experience in gaining access and building new relationships at executive level
- Navigates ambiguous, early-stage opportunities

Flexible working
BT have moved to a hybrid working model - you can work from home 2 days per week. This means you’ll be at your contractual location 3 days a week.
