About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated KS1 Teacher for maternity cover . You will deliver lessons across Years 1–2 , monitor pupil progress, and create a positive and stimulating classroom environment .
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the KS1 curriculum
- Supporting pupils’ literacy, numeracy, and social development
- Monitoring progress and providing feedback to support growth
- Maintaining a safe and stimulating classroom environment
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, approachable, and creative , with experience in KS1 teaching and excellent classroom management skills. You should have a passion for fostering curiosity and confidence in young learners .
Requirements:
- QTS or recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching KS1
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Legal right to work in the UK
