Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative and challenging English Language and Literature lessons from Key Stage 3 through to A-Level and Oxbridge preparation.
- Commit fully to maintaining the school's high standards of academic discipline and intellectual debate.
- Contribute significantly to the literary and cultural life of the school (e.g., debating, school magazine, drama productions).
- Monitor and guide individual pupil progress with regular feedback to ensure outstanding attainment.
- Work collaboratively within a highly experienced faculty as a dedicated English Teacher.
Requirements
- A degree in English or a related Humanities subject and a passion for teaching (QTS advantageous).
- Proven success in achieving high examination results and experience teaching high-calibre students.
