  • Supporting emotional regulation, behaviour management, and social interaction

  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive self-esteem

  • Adapting resources and activities to suit individual learning styles

  • Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teaching staff

  • Supporting pupils during transitions, breaktimes, and structured activities

In some settings, you may also assist with:

  • Personal care (where required and fully supported)

  • Sensory activities and interventions

  • Behaviour support plans and de-escalation strategies

Who We’re Looking For

You do not need to have years of experience — but you do need the right mindset.

  • Patient, calm, and emotionally intelligent

  • Passionate about inclusive education

  • Reliable and committed

  • Able to follow guidance while also using initiative

  • Strong communicators who work well as part of a team

Ideal backgrounds include (but are not limited to):

  • Previous SEN TA or classroom support experience

  • Care work, youth work, or support work
