Year 3 Teacher - Barnet - January 2026
Are you a passionate and creative Year 3 Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Barnet is seeking a skilled Year 3 Teacher to join its lower Key Stage 2 team from January 2026.
This Year 3 Teacher role in Barnet will begin in January 2026, with a well-structured induction programme delivered before January 2026. The Year 3 Teacher will play a key role in helping pupils develop independence as learners and in strengthening their core academic skills.
As a Year 3 Teacher in Barnet, you will plan purposeful lessons, deliver engaging guided reading sessions and promote high standards of written work. The Year 3 Teacher will regularly assess progress, provide targeted feedback and work closely with colleagues to ensure consistency. This Barnet-based Year 3 Teacher position also offers access to high-quality CPD and collaborative planning time.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Year 3 lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Support reading comprehension and writing stamina development
- Track and analyse assessment data to inform planning
- Maintain a calm, consistent and productive classroom environment
- Work closely with parents and carers in Barnet
Ideal candidate
- Experience teaching as a Year 3 Teacher or within lower KS2
- Secure subject knowledge and effective behaviour management
- reflective, organised and team-oriented approach
- Available to start January 2026
