Caretaker / Cleaner

An exciting employment opportunity has arisen at Stirling Council for a Caretaker/Cleaner in support Fintry Primary school and Nursery. The successful candidate will deliver a caretaking and cleaning service, including key-holding in support of the School and Nursery community on a 27.5 hrs per week 39 week term time, temporary contract. Hours of work will be 7am-8.30am and then 3pm-7pm paid at Stirling Council Grade 3. Personal protective equipment, tools and training will be provided where necessary. Applicants should be capable of lifting heavy items, cleaning surfaces to head height and prepared to work alone and at times to work outdoors in inclement weather. A requirement to work overtime to cover Lets may at times be required. Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children.
