Director - Workflow Specialist - Strategic Accounts

Moody's Corporation
London

At Moody's, we unite the brightest minds to turn today’s risks into tomorrow’s opportunities. We do this by striving to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be who they are—with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen to each other and customers in meaningful ways. Moody’s is transforming how the world sees risk. As a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment, we’re advancing AI to move from insight to action—enabling intelligence that not only understands complexity but responds to it. We decode risk to unlock opportunity, helping our clients navigate uncertainty with clarity, speed, and confidence.

If you are excited about this opportunity but do not meet every single requirement, please apply! You still may be a great fit for this role or other open roles. We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity.

  • Deep understanding of credit and financial risk concepts, including risk data, models, and workflow-based solutions
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior-level stakeholders, including risk leaders and executive decision-makers
  • Demonstrated track record of revenue generation through the sale of analytics, data, or financial software solutions
  • Ability to articulate complex solutions through both high-level executive messaging and detailed product demonstrations
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills in client-facing environments
  • Comfort working with financial software-based tools and analytics platforms
  • Curiosity and working knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts, with interest in responsible and ethical AI adoption
  • This position offers a dynamic work environment, requiring up to 50% travel to engage with clients face-to-face, while also providing the flexibility of hybrid working

Education

  • Undergraduate or first-level degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) required
  • Typically 10+ years of experience in sales roles within data, analytics, research, or financial software organisations
  • Fluency in English required, with a second European language considered a strong advantage

Responsibilities

  • Engage senior stakeholders within large corporate organisations to discuss best practices and innovations in financial risk management
  • Drive business development across assigned territories by identifying, targeting, and closing new sales opportunities
  • Partner closely with Relationship Managers to manage sales cycles from prospecting through to successful deal closure
  • Act as the market and product expert during the sales process, positioning Moody’s credit and financial risk solutions with credibility
  • Assess client needs through consultative engagement, developing a deep understanding of business and industry-specific challenges
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Product Strategy to support product enhancement and new revenue opportunities
  • Coordinate responses to client and prospect requests for product and services information
  • Support the creation and circulation of market insights to strengthen internal and external thought leadership
