About the Role

The school is seeking a patient, enthusiastic, and creative Reception Teacher for maternity cover . You will plan and deliver EYFS lessons, support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development , and work closely with colleagues to maintain consistency and high-quality learning experiences .

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate EYFS lessons
• Observe, assess, and record pupil progress
• Support children’s social and emotional wellbeing
• Maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment
• Engage parents in pupils’ learning and development
• Contribute to enrichment activities and school events

Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a teacher who is nurturing, creative, and adaptable , with a strong understanding of early years pedagogy. You should be able to engage children through play-based and structured activities , while fostering a love of learning from the start of their educational journey.

Requirements:

• EYFS or early years teaching qualification, or QTS
• Experience teaching Reception or EYFS
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Legal right to work in the UK
