Contract Technical Business Analyst – ServiceNow

Outside IR35 | Contract | Hybrid / Remote (UK) | Up to £500 a day

I’m seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong ServiceNow expertise to support a large-scale transformation programme within a complex enterprise environment. This is a contract role operating Outside IR35 , ideal for a delivery-focused consultant who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements across ServiceNow modules

• Act as the primary interface between stakeholders, developers, architects, and ServiceNow platform teams

• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications (user stories, process flows, data models)

• Support ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, and integrations (e.g. ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD)

• Facilitate workshops, backlog refinement sessions, and sprint ceremonies

• Ensure solutions align with ServiceNow best practice, platform capabilities, and enterprise architecture

• Support UAT planning, defect triage, and go-live readiness

• Produce high-quality documentation including BRDs, FRDs, and configuration specifications

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst on complex digital or platform-led programmes

• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow , including configuration awareness and platform constraints

• Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments

• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of deliverables in a contract setting

• Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences

• Experience working on enterprise-scale systems and integrations

Desirable

• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS, or similar)

• Experience with integrations (REST APIs, MID Server, third-party systems)

• Background in ITSM, ITOM, CSM, or HR Service Delivery

• Previous Outside IR35 contract experience

• IR35 Status: Outside IR35

• Contract Length: Initial 3 months (extension likely)

• Rate: Up to £500 a day

• Location: Hybrid / Remote (UK-based)
